Visit Auckland for more events this year

The Auckland metropolitan area or Greater Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest urban area of the country. It is also New Zealand’s most populous city with over 1.3 million people, it has over a quarter of the country’s population (32.4% of NZ’s total population), and demographic trends indicate that it will continue growing faster than the rest of the country.

Coming soon is The Adidas Auckland Marathon (28 October) , Crowded House – Time on Earth Tour (28 October) , Parent and Child show (26 – 28 October) , Waitakere World Junior Badminton Championships 2007 (25 October – 4 Vovember) , Netball World Championships (10 – 17 November) , Parnell Festival of Roses (10 – 11 November) and many more.

A brief about this coming Waitakere World Junior Badminton Championship 2007, there will be teams consists of the under 19 age group from twenty-six countries will compete for titles in the 2007 world junior badminton championships.

The Championships are split into a team event, where they compete for the title of Junior World Champions, and individual events when players compete their individual disciplines (men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles). We can watch the future Olympic and World Champions and the competition will be of the highest standard seen in New Zealand yet.
